Had a mixed experience at Yumi Kitchen. Service was quite inconsistent — staff seemed uncoordinated and not very attentive. The salted egg spaghetti was a letdown in terms of texture and taste. On the bright side, the grilled chicken chop and Dalgona coffee were both delicious and well-prepared. With better service and a few improvements, this place has potential.

Unexpected cafe in the area. Food was reasonably priced. We didn't quite like the takoyaki but the other dishes are pretty nice. Staff was friendly. There were some interesting Japanese fusion dishes, but it's only available during weekends which is a bummer. All in all, cosy yumcha spot for those looking for a place to chill and hang out for a drink and snacks.

This is my second time dining here, and so far, I still really like this place. They’ve also opened a new space just next door, which can cater to more people and can host birthdays or parties, complete with air conditioning. The food was okay to good, and the prices are really worth it. I ordered nasi goreng (comes with fried egg), roti bakar, takoyaki, and their iced kopi — which was great, especially for such an affordable price range. Definitely planning to come back to try their signature masakan Melayu dishes! Service was okay, but the staff could smile a little more? I came during brunch time, still early (I guess?) so maybe they were still warming up. Don’t stress too much, Miss! Will definitely come again to try more from the menu.

Honestly I was skeptical at first. I tried a variety of dishes here. Nasi Ayam Penyet Nasi Goreng Kampung Nasi Goreng Sotong Chicken Grill Buttermilk Chicken Takoyaki Overall the food always surprises me on how delicious it is. Added value is that when I order no salt fried rice and they oblige to it, and still taste good!
